It began in Bordeaux, with websites for wine estates: modular offers, prototyped
quickly, suited to houses that did not need a six-month project in order to exist
online.
And then one day an estate asked us for something else. Not a website: a database. They wanted to keep the history of their en primeur tastings — who had come, what they had tasted, what they had said about it.
Nobody offered that.
We wrote it. That was the first seed of OenoManager, and everything that followed comes from it: contacts, tastings, allocations,
distribution. The CRM we sell today to seventy-four houses was born of one house's
precise request.
The house that asked for that database
is still a client.
That is the only measure worth anything for business software: not the number of
signatures, but the number of years.
